Don Ramon Delgado

Treasurer of the Board

Don Ramón Emilio Delgado was born in Santo Domingo, in the neighborhood of San Carlos. He migrated to New York City in 1957. He has been involved in cultural and community activism in the Dominican Republic and New York City. He has also been an active member of the Community Union of Washington Heights for many years. Don Ramón was a registered student in the faculty of law for five years in the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD). During his distinguished career he has demonstrate a passion and love for cultural and community activities. Don Ramón was appointed secretary of finance (Treasurer of ADAVA), effective July 5, 2009.
