Rafael Gonzalez

Speaker of the Board

Rafael Gonzalez was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He migrated to New York in 2002; he currently lives in Passaic, New Jersey. Previously, he has been involved in social and cultural activities in the Dominican Republic and New York. He is currently serving as president of the Association for Community Development (ASODECO) in Santiago, Dominican Republic. Rafael has also produced television programs like “Punto de Referencia and Pulso del Día. He ocationally writes articles about international issues for newspaper “tin Diario” and “La Information”. Rafael has been a founding member of ADAVA. He was appointed Speaker of the Alliance of Dominican American Visual Artists, effective July 5, 2009.
